At Mid Sweden University, many of our students and members have organized themselves into what we call either line associations or cultural associations. The latter are more comprehensive and engage students in various programs and subjects. Of course, you do not have to become a member of any of these, but can just as easily get involved directly under the Student Union and come up with ideas for new projects. It is your commitment that matters most.
All student unions and cultural associations are legal entities and thus independent of the Student Union in Sundsvall. We therefore do not take responsibility for each association's activities unless it has been approved in advance by the Student Union's board.
Mid Sweden University has two campus locations, Sundsvall and Östersund and thus two corps. Spring and then the Student Union in Östersund! We work together with university-wide issues in the collaborative body Mid Sweden University's United Student Unions (MFS), for example the appointment of general posts and the Pedagogical Prize.

At the beginning of 2020, a radio channel was started at Mid Sweden University with the help of the Student Union. Under the name Radiosvallet, students broadcast radio every Saturday. The radio wave was started to give students an opportunity to learn even more about radio and how it works to broadcast. On the one hand, students become more prepared when they enter the labor market, but they also get a chance to create something of their own and have fun. Every week, our editorial staff finds new topics to talk about, both high and low. It is with us that you get info about the city's entertainment life, what happens at school, helpful tips about student life, etc.
